General Manager at St. Louis Bar & Grill

Location: Yonge & St. Clair Location, Toronto

We are looking to hire a dynamic and outgoing leader capable of executing our St. Louis Extraordinary Hospitality to guests and team members, creating the ultimate guest experience!

About St. Louis Bar & Grill

Since opening our first location in 1992, St. Louis Bar & Grill has been dedicated to creating devilishly good times for Canadians. Our journey began with a simple mission: to serve up exceptional wings with service excellence. Today, with 80 locations across the country, we continue our commitment to creating a lively atmosphere with our famous wings, ribs, and Garlic Dill sauce, aiming to make everyone a regular!

What You’ll Do

As General Manager, you will need thorough knowledge of all restaurant operations including Human Resource Management, Financial Reporting, BOH and FOH Management. Most importantly, we seek a team leader who prioritizes People First! attitude, coaching and developing teammates accordingly.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced full-service restaurant.
  • Passion and energy for hospitality, hosting your team and guests!
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build respectful relationships with a diverse team.
  • A love for training and skill development in others.
  • Experience in event and party planning, with the ability to create and execute sales-building activities.
  • Experience in ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to manage scheduling, performance reviews, and team-building exercises while elevating service quality.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • An attitude that exudes enjoyment within an active atmosphere.
  • Working knowledge of human resources principles and some financial literacy.
In This Role, You Will
  • Set and exemplify Extraordinary Hospitality!
  • Ensure staff punctuality and proper uniform compliance.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings to set performance standards.
  • Oversee service execution, ensuring timely delivery of quality food and exceptional guest experience.
  • Manage labor costs within optimal ranges.
  • Greet guests and ensure exceeding expectations through table touches.
  • Maintain cleanliness across all restaurant areas.
  • Drive excitement and sales for promotions and limited-time offers.
  • Manage POS operations, discounts, and voids appropriately.
  • Handle guest feedback proactively and follow-up as needed.
  • Support and execute national promotions effectively.
  • Count inventory accurately per procedures.
