Aramark Sports + Entertainment is seeking a General Manager to oversee food and beverage operations at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Scotiabank Centre is Atlantic Canada's largest multipurpose venue, hosting major events like sports, concerts, and cultural shows, and home to teams such as the Halifax Mooseheads and Halifax Thunderbirds.

The General Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and leading a multi-million dollar venue, achieving operational and financial objectives, and executing large-scale events. This role reports to the District Manager and involves managing a team of salaried managers. The position offers a salary plus performance bonuses based on financial and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage client relationships and lead venue operations.

5. Collaborate with the District Leadership Team on business growth strategies.
6. Recruit, train, and develop management staff.

Qualifications

1. At least 5+ years of management experience in large venues or multi-unit operations.
2. Experience in premium and concessions management preferred.
3. Proven P&L management skills in a comparable environment.
4. Ability to lead a large, diverse team in a high-volume setting.
5. Strong focus on client and guest service, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
6. Passion for food & beverage, with a knack for developing successful concepts.
7. Excellent communication skills with clients and senior management.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
