Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Development, the General Manager will be responsible for the development, execution, and success of some exciting initiatives at Skip. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with a core ‘city squad’ of individual SMEs across all departments in the organization. As the lead of this squad, the GM will be responsible for setting the weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives for the squad, help lead them from ideation to execution, and ultimately be responsible for championing and leveraging the squad to drive fast, meaningful tests from incubation through to scale to realize results.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, entrepreneurial, loves to analyze data and will think critically to make the right decisions quickly while working in a cross-functional environment. They are not afraid of failure, but see it as an opportunity to learn and adapt, seeking opportunities to test hypotheses in an effort to figure out quickly what works and what doesn’t. This individual has a growth mindset and an insatiable appetite for winning.
