Job Description

As the General Manager for this new potential business opportunity, you will support the District Manager and Area General Manager in leading our teams to excellence and fostering a strong safety culture. This role involves leading and directing a high-volume kitchen food service team daily.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Maintain interface with customers and clients, ensuring full contract compliance with all criteria and reaching all performance specifications including service delivery, budget adherence, cost savings, energy savings, and customer service standards.
  • Oversee all facilities, property, and project management services as required by the contract and as requested by our client.
  • Coordinate and promote proactive performance reviews between the customers/clients and Sodexo to ensure seamless service performance and integration.
  • Develop and adhere to operating budgets for your unit.
  • Provide ongoing financial and operational analysis of unit performance.
  • Maintain all key performance indicators, including high customer satisfaction, account retention, employee development, financial goals achievement, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 3-4 years of Assistant General Manager / Hospitality experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Hospitality is an asset, but relevant work experience is also highly valued.
  • Experience or accreditation in food service, janitorial services, health and safety regulations, quality control, custodial, grounds, office services, managing third-party contracts, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong financial acumen and contract management skills.
