The Position

Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, the General Manager will be a natural leader and help to deliver positive shareable experiences. They are fun, energetic and know how to throw a party!

They will be responsible for creating positive shareable experiences for guests at Dublin Calling Vancouver and other MRG-owned businesses, as well as drive business through community outreach.

The Role

1. Provide top-notch service, safety, and cleanliness of the venue resulting in operational excellence.
2. Oversee and strategize ways to improve financial performance while ensuring brand standards are being met.
3. Create positive relationships with the team while exhibiting empathy and respect for people at all levels.
4. Effectively address guest concerns in a fair and honest way.
5. Develop and maintain a positive work culture for all employees.
6. Take ownership of the training and development of staff.
7. Collaborate with the sales team and follow through with service expectations for special events (food service, staffing levels, room set-up).
8. Bring life to the party and encourage the team to do the same!

Due to the nature of the work, after hours correspondence may be required.
