General Manager – Genesis Downtown Vancouver
Location: Downtown Vancouver – Opening Summer 2025

Genesis Downtown Vancouver is launching a brand-new, state-of-the-art dealership this summer. As we prepare to open, we are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused General Manager to lead this exciting new venture from the ground up.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about customer experience, building a high-performing sales culture, and establishing a strong brand presence. You will have the opportunity to shape every aspect of this new operation—from team building to customer engagement—and play a vital role in positioning Genesis as a premium destination in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead all aspects of the dealership’s launch, including staffing, training, customer process design, and execution of brand standards.
  2. Build and lead a high-performance sales and leadership team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  3. Foster a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and continuous improvement aligned with the Genesis brand.
  4. Partner with OEM representatives to ensure alignment with product knowledge, training, and customer engagement strategies.
  5. Guide and support sales managers and sales consultants to achieve sales volume and customer satisfaction targets.
  6. Deliver ongoing training, coaching, and development for the sales team, including daily and weekly huddles.
  7. Ensure the new vehicle delivery process is executed flawlessly, creating memorable customer moments.
  8. Champion showroom readiness, sales floor organization, and a consistent, premium guest experience.
  9. Participate actively in the sales process when needed, assisting in deal structuring and customer interactions.
  10. Lead by example in customer interactions, team accountability, and brand representation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager in an automotive dealership.
  • Superior management, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • High standards for vehicle delivery to customers.
  • Ensure sales representatives understand and follow dealership policies at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills; effective with customers, subordinates, and management.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with internet and retail tools, such as 180 and ADP.
  • Valid VSA License is required.
