A leading company specializing in commercial roofing is seeking a VP of Commercial Renovations to oversee operations, sales, and product development. This permanent role offers a salary range of 150,000 to 180,000 CAD, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to lead a dynamic department. The ideal candidate will possess significant industry experience, strong strategic and communication skills, and a proven track record in management.
Staffinity is currently seeking a VP - commercialrenovations - Roofing for a large roofing client. This is a permanent position with base salary, benefits, vacation, RRSP matching and profit sharing. The base salary range is 150-180k+ DOE. The ideal candidate will have strong operations experience and excellent industry and product knowledge. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working directly for a roofing company.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for the sales, commercialization, product development,
forecasting, market pricing, etc. of roofing products and service contracts.
Planning and execution, gathering product and customer requirements and defining the product vision.
Develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a
professional image of the company.
Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through email,
video / telephone calls, in-person meetings, and industry events. Ensure all reasonable customer requests and needs are being met in a timely manner.
Manage the overall performance of the Roofing renovations Department.
Ensure that all employees have the right tools, information, and knowledge to work effectively.
Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
Work with relevant stakeholders to set regional volume goals and devise a plan to ensure goals are met.
Participate in annual Sales Budget preparation by setting targets for current and new business.
Review financial information to determine opportunities to improve margins and develop pricing plan.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive pricing strategy and structure.
Assess market competition to identify new product opportunities and enhance product portfolio.
Become the product knowledge expert for the product line and ensure product training delivery to the sales team.
Ensure all Sales Representatives have baseline knowledge of all products.
Provide technical information and product knowledge to all levels of contractors and end users on all product lines.
Understand, support and adhere to the company’s health and safety policies, programs and procedures by communicating and promoting health and safety awareness to coworkers and subordinates.Qualifications :
Diploma or degree preferably in marketing, business, or related field.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning experience.
5+ years of experience working directly with a roofing company.
7+ years of senior management experience.
5+ years of budgeting experience.
5+ years of sales growth experience.
