About The Role

The General Manager will lead a team of 50 employees and oversee all aspects of Flora Food Group's $250M Canadian market, one of the top 10 global markets for our brand. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and R&D teams.

As a key leader, you will champion business performance in both the "take-home" retail (GDMC) and "away-from-home" foodservice sectors, including alternative trade channels. You will be critical in strengthening customer partnerships with Canadian retailers and industry stakeholders, while fostering a culture of leadership and high performance throughout the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize productivity, efficiency, and sustainable business growth across multiple channels.
  • Oversee day-to-day business operations, establishing performance goals and driving accountability to achieve sales, profitability, and market share targets.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of high-performing talent aligned with company objectives and culture.
  • Manage project timelines and cross-functional initiatives, ensure alignment across departments, and ensure effective execution.
  • Partner with People & Organization to conduct talent reviews, build succession plans, and strengthen organizational capabilities.
  • Foster transparent communication to keep all employees engaged and aligned with company strategy and priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with senior leadership, Canadian retailers, and industry partners.
  • Inspire and lead a culture of care, passion, and performance by exemplifying empathy, integrity, and commitment to success.
