This role involves directing all operational aspects, including relationship building, sales, customer service, and human resources, while managing costs and margins. Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a General Manager. The ideal candidate will exhibit loyalty and integrity in their tasks, show enthusiasm and interest in their work, and possess the ability to execute tasks with attention to detail. Furthermore, the candidate should inspire teammates to follow them, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities:
● Achieve company key performance indicators related to sales, customer service, and administration.
● Evaluate local market conditions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities, and develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
● Lead recruitment efforts, including new employee onboarding and orientation.
● Promote and maintain a robust safety program (SAFE) and positive workplace culture.
● Utilize LEAN principles to enhance efficiency and foster innovation.
● Play a pivotal role in employee engagement by addressing concerns and conducting performance management.
● Oversee company financials, including budgeting, cost, and margin management.
● Manage company assets effectively.

Qualifications:
Combinations of relevant experience and education will be considered.
● 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in one of our key contracting areas: Traffic control, Fire Safety or Security guard services.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Post-secondary education in commerce, management, human resources, operations management, or an equivalent field is desired.
● Previous experience in sales is desired.
● Experience in customer service, operations, or human resources would be an asset.
● Experience in the traffic industry would be an asset.
