Location: Remote (North America preferred)
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $70,000 CAD+ performance incentives

Agency is the private, vetted network for 7, 8, and 9-figure agency founders and leaders.
Agency is an invite‑only, founder‑built network for high-performing, growth‑focused agency leaders. Through facilitated monthly forum groups, a private digital community, warm deal referrals, and curated events, Agency enables 7‑ to 9‑figure agency owners to connect with peers who truly “get it” and scale together.
Agency is an offshoot of our marketing media company, directtoconsumer.co and digital performance agency, Pilothouse.co.
Where we’re at
Born from the team behind directtoconsumer.co and our sister company, Pilothouse, Agency started as an experiment rooted in a clear gap we saw in the market: serious agency founders needed a trusted, high-signal network to grow with.
We’ve proven the concept by onboarding early members and refining our offer with a small, exceptional group of 7, 8, and 9-figure agency founders. The response has confirmed what we knew all along: there's a massive appetite for what we’re building.
Now we’re ready to go to market and we’re looking for a General Manager to take the reins and turn this from Beta into a fully operational, high-performing business. You’ll inherit a strong foundation, a high-caliber brand, and the support of a full-stack team (tech, creative, marketing, ops) to help you execute.
This role isn’t just about running a community. It’s about building a category defining brand from the ground up with the autonomy and support to do it right.
What you’ll do:
We’re looking for a founder-minded operator, someone who thrives in the early-stage chaos, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and knows how to turn a strong foundation into a high-performing business.
You’ll take the lead on building Agency from beta into a fully operational, scalable company. That means not just running what exists but refining, growing, and owning it end to end.
This role is perfect for someone who loves going deep in the early days, but also knows how to architect systems, grow a team, and scale strategically.
You’ll be responsible for:
  • Recruiting & Growth: Drive member acquisition through direct outreach, referrals, strategic partnerships, and targeted campaigns.
  • Marketing & Positioning: Collaborate with our content, creative, and media teams to build awareness, drive demand, and position Agency as the premium network for elite agency founders.
  • Community Leadership: Own the day-to-day operations of the community from onboarding and member engagement to facilitating conversation, connections, and retention.
  • Technical Ops & Tools: Manage the Circle community platform and related tools to ensure a seamless, high-quality member experience.
  • Product Development: Help shape and evolve the Agency offer including Forum Groups, roundtables, AMAs, and new product layers.
  • Scaling the Team: As we grow, you’ll identify roles we need to fill, help recruit top talent, and build the systems to support a scalable org.
  • Events & Brand Presence: Be the face of Agency at both online and in-person events which includes, hosting roundtables, moderating discussions, and helping shape unforgettable founder experiences.
What You’ll Do
  • Own Growth of Agency: Develop and lead acquisition strategies across marketing, outreach, and partnerships.
  • Launch direct outreach campaigns, and funnel experiments.
  • Build and maintain a waitlist pipeline of highly qualified agency founders.
  • Own member retention strategies and continuously improve the full member journey.
  • Build A Community:
  • Connect high-caliber members through curated intros and warm referrals.
  • Host monthly live sessions, AMAs, and founder roundtables.
  • Foster ongoing, high-signal conversation in Circle and during events.
  • Ensure each member feels seen, supported, and surrounded by real peers.
  • Run Operations:
  • Manage the Circle platform and keep it optimized for ease and engagement.
  • Own onboarding, newsletters, event logistics, and back-end systems.
  • Build and improve playbooks to ensure a premium, repeatable experience.
  • Partner with the broader DTC team on tech, creative, and marketing efforts.
  • Lead Strategy:
  • Define and track KPIs across growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Build internal systems that scale (funnel optimization, CRM, referral tracking).
  • Turn qualitative member feedback into actionable product iterations.
  • Help shape pricing, product packaging, and future service layers.
  • Be the Face:
  • Serve as the host and point of connection across the Agency experience.
  • Moderate discussions, lead events, and represent Agency publicly.
  • Build relationships with key members, speakers, and partners.
  • Help position Agency as the premium network for 7–9 figure founders.
  • Take the lead on Agency’s event presence including hosting online sessions, facilitating in-person gatherings, and being the face of every high-impact touchpoint.
