As the General Manager of our Windsor Plant, you’ll play a key leadership role in driving our operations forward. You’ll oversee everything from production and quality assurance to supply chain management and logistics — all while leading an incredible team and managing the P&L for the site.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Champion Dainty’s corporate vision and strategy, inspiring your team to achieve excellence.
- Lead all plant operations — production, scheduling, and projects — ensuring efficiency, quality, cost control, and profitability.
- Oversee capital projects and drive continuous improvements.
- Take direct responsibility for the Windsor site’s P&L and financial success.
- Motivate and mentor your team, creating an environment where employees feel empowered and engaged.
- Act as a change leader, fostering a positive culture that rallies around new ideas and strategic initiatives.
- Regularly report and present performance, productivity, and financial results to senior management.
- Play a hands-on role in the annual budgeting process.
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and values-driven workplace.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders as needed.
Key Qualifications & Competencies:
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing (plant management or operations leadership required).
- Proven experience in a unionized environment, with strong labor relations expertise.
- Post-secondary education in business, engineering, food science, or a related field (advanced education is a plus).
- Demonstrated success with P&L ownership and driving business results.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
