Role Description

This is a Part time / full-time on-site role for a General Manager located in Red Deer, AB. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, ensuring staff compliance with policies, and driving organizational growth. The General Manager will also be expected to develop strategic plans, manage projects, and ensure the highest quality of service delivery to veterans. Additionally, the General Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and ensuring organizational goals are met.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leadership, management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial planning
  • Skills in strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving
  • Experience with stakeholder management and maintaining professional relationships
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
  • Experience in the non-profit or social services sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred
