Our client is seeking a Bilingual General Manager for their small branded property in the Ottawa area of Ontario. The General Manager will be responsible for daily operations, with strengths in front office, customer relations, and sales growth.

The ideal candidate must have a “Can Do” attitude, hands-on management style, and excellent knowledge of branded properties. They will work closely with the owner team to maintain standards and maximize customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements include a minimum of three to five years in a General Manager role, knowledge of local competition, industry trends, and strong English and French communication skills. Human resources and mentoring skills are also essential to lead a guest-focused team.

The successful candidate will meet or exceed hotel budget targets, including product and labor cost control, and work creatively on guest packages and collaborate with restaurant management.

This role requires understanding guest needs, anticipating customer expectations, and striving to impress at every opportunity.

Compensation : The salary package is around CA$90,000 to CA$100,000, with annual incentives and benefits.
