We are seeking an accomplished, visionary, and operationally astute General Manager to lead our entire organization, drive strategic expansion, and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Position Summary: As the General Manager, you will be the chief operational and strategic leader of Top Medical Transportation. You will assume comprehensive oversight of all business functions, including daily operations, financial performance, management, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth initiatives. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of healthcare operations, exceptional leadership acumen, and a proven ability to optimize processes and cultivate strong relationships to ensure our continued success and market leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Executive Operational & Strategic Leadership: Provide overarching leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of Top Medical Transportation's operations, encompassing dispatch, logistics, patient transfer coordination, fleet management, and resource allocation. Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery across all shifts.
  • Team Leadership, Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team of medical attendants, dispatchers, and administrative personnel. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and foster a high-performance culture grounded in safety, compassion, and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Performance & Administrative Oversight: Manage comprehensive operational budgets, conduct financial analysis, and implement strategies to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability. Oversee administrative functions including detailed documentation, record-keeping.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure stringent adherence to all federal, provincial, and municipal regulations pertaining to non-emergency medical transportation, including licensing, safety standards, and healthcare protocols. Develop and enforce robust quality assurance programs to uphold the highest standards of patient care and operational integrity.
  • Key Relationship Management & Business Growth: Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare providers. Identify and pursue opportunities for new partnerships and service expansion to drive sustained business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Extensive Leadership & Healthcare Operations Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership and management experience within a complex operational environment. This includes significant experience in healthcare management, coordination, or related fields demonstrating a strong understanding of patient-centric services and logistical coordination. Experience as a Pharmacist managing staff and pharmacy operations, or similar healthcare business oversight, is highly valued.
  • Proven Managerial Acumen: Demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a successful track record of managing diverse teams and overseeing multi-faceted operations.
  • Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and interact empathetically with patients, healthcare professionals, staff, and external partners.
  • In-depth Healthcare & Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of healthcare industry standards, patient safety protocols, and relevant transportation regulations.
  • Business & Financial Literacy: Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage budgets, interpret financial data, and make informed strategic business decisions.
  • Technological Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for operational oversight, reporting, and communication. Familiarity with dispatch and operational management software is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and another language, demonstrating the ability to effectively serve our diverse clientele and workforce.
  • Commitment to Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required, to ensure comprehensive operational oversight and leadership.

Salary & Benefits:
