Position: General Manager (Kamloops, BC)

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Kamloops. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the car wash site, managing a team of employees, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and optimizing site performance. The GM will work closely with the company president to execute business strategies, drive growth, and maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of the car wash facility
2. Recruit, train, and manage staff to maintain performance and service standards
3. Monitor financial performance, control expenses, and manage budgets
4. Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent service delivery and issue resolution
5. Oversee preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is operating efficiently
6. Drive operational improvements, optimize site throughput, and manage quality control
7. Maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the site
8. Work with the senior leadership team to meet revenue goals and KPIs

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
2. Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills
3. Mechanically inclined with an understanding of equipment operations and maintenance
4. Customer-focused mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities
5. Financially literate; able to manage budgets and analyze performance metrics
6. Experience in the car wash industry is an asset
7. Must be a local resident or willing to relocate to Kamloops, BC.
