We are currently seeking an accomplished and results-oriented General Manager to lead Ajax Hyundai and Genesis Ajax into their next chapter of growth and distinction.

The Opportunity

Ajax Hyundai and Genesis Ajax are actively seeking a visionary General Manager to oversee the strategic and operational direction of both stores. This leadership role is responsible for the total dealership performance, including new and pre-owned vehicle sales, luxury guest services, fixed operations, and financial management. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who brings deep industry experience, a passion for automotive excellence, and a relentless focus on delivering an elevated guest journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all departments, including Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance.
• Drive profitability and market share for both Hyundai and Genesis brands, with a focus on sustainable growth.
• Champion an exceptional guest experience that aligns with the elevated expectations of our luxury clientele.
• Develop, mentor, and empower department managers and team members to achieve peak performance.
• Maintain full compliance with OEM programs and corporate operational standards.
• Analyze and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CSI, gross and net profitability, and inventory metrics.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a General Manager in a high-performing dealership environment.
• Previous experience in a luxury automotive brand is required.
• Familiarity with Asian and European import brands (Genesis, Hyundai, Lexus, BMW, Audi, Mercedes) is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and organizational development capabilities.
• Deep understanding of dealership financials, operations, and performance analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire a diverse team and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong guest service philosophy, supported by a history of outstanding CSI scores.
• Proficiency in systems such as Auto Alert, One-Eighty, TMS, V-Auto, and CDK is considered an asset.
