GENERAL MAINTENANCE PERSON:
- Must be available Saturday and Sunday during July and August 2025.
- Enjoy working with other team members and guests while promoting a positive, professional attitude with all.
- Enjoy performing physical work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions.
- Possess or have the willingness to obtain training such as Workplace Health & Safety Awareness and WHMIS.
- Ensure the resort and its facilities are kept safe, clean, and in good operating condition by performing general maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, grounds, and equipment as required.
- Must be comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written communications with minimal supervision.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Have a G1 driver's license and meet insurance requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Watering and caring for plants and lawns, continuously monitoring beach and accommodation areas for cleanliness as well as safety concerns, removal of trash, and recycling from bins and other receptacles daily.
- Painting, staining, minor repairs, and other related functions that promote a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for our guests and visitors.
- Racking/blowing leaves, removal of branches and twigs as well as any other assorted debris from the property.
- Assist with seasonal preparations of resort amenities such as swimming pool, hot tub, canoes, boats, waterfront toys, and patio furniture.
- Perform snow removal using Shovels, Snow Blower, and Tractor and application of sand/ice melt materials to walkways, ramps, stairs, etc.
- Care for repairs and/or periodic maintenance in their areas.
- Electrical work
- General Maintenance around the Resort and at The Seasons Restaurant.
- A safe Water Testing Certificate is not required although an asset.
