Corby Spirit and Wine Limited and Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd. is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join our North America Accounting team. You will contribute to monthly close, intercompany reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role offers a collaborative, detail‑oriented environment with a hybrid work policy (2 days remote) and strong opportunities for CPA‑level career growth. 2–4 years of accounting experience required.

Qualifications

• Prepare and process journal entries for monthly close
• Complete intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
• Record daily accounting transactions including intercompany billings and inventory activity
• Assist with monthly VAT filings and tax reporting for multiple entities
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and financial processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on month-end reporting and ad hoc projects

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process journal entries in support of monthly close activities.

• Record daily accounting transactions, including intercompany billings, purchases, and inventory-related activity.
• Support monthly inventory reconciliations and partner with brand owners on reporting activities.
• Assist with the preparation and completion of Pernod Ricard monthly reporting packages.
• Perform routine account reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Prepare monthly VAT filings and support tax reporting requirements for multiple entities.
• Analyze financial information and provide basic variance analysis and reporting.
• Support internal control compliance, risk management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.
