Summary:

AGAT Laboratories is currently hiring for a General Labourer to join our Environmental logistics team. This position is a Seasonal contract for a term of May 5th - August 4th 2025, working out of the Calgary location.

The successful candidate will be providing support to the logistics team with shipping/receiving of samples and other general labour activities in a warehouse environment. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out where they will gain valuable experience and direction from the Logistics Supervisor and team.

What you will be doing:

• Working in the warehouse/logistics area, ensure packages, cylinders, samples are handled safely and stored in proper place
• Conduct and operate activities in a safe manner, ensuring all standard operating and safety procedures are followed
• Maintain, clean and organize work areas including cleaning and washing of lab equipment
• Perform quality checks as required
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Table:

• High school diploma
• Previous work experience in general labour, warehouse, or lab setting
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg/50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Good communication skills with fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment
• Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail
• Mature work ethic, dependable, with a willingness to work in a team as well as independently
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to wear appropriate PPE including steel toed shoes/boots
