The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a Garage Labourer for the Shelburne Bus Garage, responsible for performing light maintenance on the school bus fleet. Candidates should possess vehicle maintenance experience and effective interpersonal skills. This term position requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with mechanical staff.

Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Provide labour, assist with maintenance of school busses in compliance with established practices and standards;
- Maintain accurate records of work performance through use of approved work order system;
- Maintains assigned vehicles and equipment in compliance with established practices and standards;
- Travel from site to site as required; valid Class 5 drivers license
- Perform duties in compliance with school, Operations Department and Board policies and procedures, including occupational health safety, work routines, WHMIS and evacuation plans and the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia;
- Maintains supplied equipment and ensures in good working order;
- Maintains clean work site, free of debris;
- Other related duties as assigned.
