General Labourer - Landscaping

Location: Skead, ON

Work site environment: Outdoors

Work setting: Landscape contractor, Various locations, Landscape maintenance, Park and recreation sites, Commercial

Salary: $20.00 to $32.00 per hour (To be negotiated) / 40 to 44 hours per week

Terms of employment: Seasonal, Full-time, Day, Weekend, Overtime

Start date: 2025-05-05

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape constructions
• Rake and collect refuse
• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
• Lay sod or seed
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
• Tree removal

Experience and Equipment

• Experience is an asset
• Equipment: Pick-up truck, Sod cutter, Weed trimmer/edger

Security and Safety

• Criminal record check
• Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation

• Own vehicle or Vehicle supplied by employer
• Valid driver’s license

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding
• Manual dexterity, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling

Qualifications

No degree, certificate or diploma required.
