Best Metals, an affiliate of John Ross & Sons Ltd. is currently looking to add to their team. The general labourer will be working in a public setting with customer interactions ongoing throughout the shift; Excellent communication and reliability is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic handling equipment
• Pack, unpack, sort, crate, stock goods and materials and maintain organized inventory
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
• Sort through various types of metals/materials
• Other general labour tasks as needed
  
  

Requirements:

• The ability to maintain and organize inventory is a priority
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• CSA-certified steel-toed footwear
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs repetitively
• Ability to move freely (ie: turn, squat, etc) while moving materials
• Ability to work in all weather conditions (including extreme cold, heat, and inclimate weather.)
