Job summary

Wessuc Inc. in Ontario is seeking an Agriculture Field Operator to support our land application team during the April–November season. You will operate pumps, transfer biosolids, and help manage flow with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

This hands-on role requires communicating with supervisors and drivers, performing regular maintenance, and addressing equipment issues promptly. Travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in the agriculture industry preferred.
  • Experience operating and maintaining tractors/heavy equipment is an asset.
  • Valid G or G2 license with a clean abstract.
  • Safety certifications, such as Working at Heights and CPR, are considered an asset.
  • IT literate, able to understand, record and manage data across different software platforms.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate pumps to transfer biosolids from tanker trailers to land-application equipment.
  • Manage the flow of biosolids to ensure controlled and efficient transfer.
  • Communicate with supervisors, drivers, and management staff regarding biosolids application and issues.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on application equipment, including pumps, hoses, and spreading mechanisms.
  • Inspect and address issues promptly to prevent breakdowns during biosolids application.

Aboutthe Role

As we head into our land application season from April 1 - November 30, we are looking for an agriculture Field Operator to support our land application team. As a FieldOperator, you will:

AboutYou
