Job summary

Overlanders Manufacturing LP is seeking a detail-oriented General Labourer to join our Abbotsford production team. You will contribute to assembly and packaging, assist on the production line, and handle parts through finishing, all in a fast-paced setting with a focus on quality and safety.

You will work Monday to Friday on a day shift, with a pay rate of CA$20–CA$22 per hour and a potential probationary period for benefits eligibility.

  • Support inventory management by monitoring supply levels.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Labourer to join our production team. In this role, you will contribute to various stages of the manufacturing process, including assembling and packaging products, assisting on the production line, and handling parts throughout the finishing process. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high-quality standards and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist on the production line to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Hang and unhang parts for processing, ensuring proper handling and placement.
  • Assemble and package products with precision, verifying that all components are correctly included and secured.
  • Operate basic machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Follow detailed instructions and specifications for product assembly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring supply levels and notifying supervisors of shortages.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and deadlines.

Employment Details

  • Pay: CA$20 - CA$22 per hour (hourly rate based on experience).
  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday. 6:00am - 2:15pm (40 hours per week).
  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. repetitively.
  • You must be reliable, pleasant and can be trained.
  • Ability to follow English written and spoken directions.
