Job summary

Bumper to Bumper is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our outbound team in Brampton. You will help receive, stock, pick, pack and ship orders, ensuring accurate inventory and timely distribution.

Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in a similar role.
  • Must be in good physical condition (stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds).
  • Computer literacy mandatory; WMS experience is an asset.
  • Fluent English reading/writing/speaking required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Outbound Team to manage storage, picking, packing and shipping.
  • Maintain inventory by labeling, stocking and locating items.
  • Pull orders by product numbers listed on pick orders.
  • Prepare stock for shipment and document units shipped.
  • Pack, label and stage orders for shipping.
  • Assist Inbound Team by receiving materials and stocking.
  • Contribute to team goals and related tasks as needed.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:
  • This position will primarily work with our Outbound Team
  • Maintains storage and distribution of product by pulling orders from warehouse to staging / shipping area; or re-stocking products on shelves. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locates parts by pulling and verifying product numbers listed on pick orders.
  • Prepares stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and staging product
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Pack, print labels and prepare orders for shipping.
  • Assist Inbound Team as required, receiving materials verifying quantity; placing materials in stock
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Important information:

The schedule of this role is from Monday to Friday from 10am to 6:30pm

Expertise & Essential Skills:
  • Previous work experience in a similar role is a definitive asset.
  • Must be in good physical condition (ability to stand, walk, sit, and handle parts)
  • Must be capable of lift parts up to 50 pounds (23kg)
  • Ability to work with rolling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, carts)
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Possess ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Computer literacy (mandatory)
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset.
  • Available on occasion to work outside regular business hours.
  • Organized and self-disciplined.
  • Task oriented.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in communication
  • Maintain spirit of cooperation with co-workers.
