Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our production team Monday-Friday from 7 : 00am-5 : 00pm in Windsor, Ontario .You will play a crucial role in supporting the production and operation of our facility. This is a repetitive, physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong work ethic.

What you're responsible for :

• Shovelling steel turnings and cleaning processing chutes
• Repetitive heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
• Sorting and segregating different types of ferrous and non ferrous materials
• Operating machinery and equipment used in the recycling process
• Inspecting, loading, and unloading of customer vehicles and trucks
• Conducting basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas

Qualifications

• You are able to work in a partially covered area with exposure to various weather conditions
• You are comfortable working in a loud, dusty, heavy industrial environment
• You are comfortable performing repetitive lifting up to 65lbs
• You have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• You have a willingness to learn and perform various tasks
• You have clear communication skills and are comfortable working with members of the public
• You have previous experience in a industrial, warehouse, or recycling environment
