Job summary

Atkinson Landscaping Inc. is looking for general labourers to join our outdoor team in Surrey. The role involves flexible yard maintenance and construction tasks, mowing, trimming, pruning, and assisting with bricklaying and foundation work.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape maintenance and basic construction tasks is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather.
• Willingness to learn from experienced crew and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass, trim trees, prune bushes and blow leaves on yard maintenance days.
• Assist on construction projects such as excavating, moving and laying brick, and leveling foundations.
• Adapt to rotating roles between maintenance and construction while maintaining safety and quality.

Job Description

Our general labourer position entails an individual that is flexible and comfortable in rotating positions. You may be on yard maintenance runs one day where you will be mowing grass, trimming trees, pruning bushes and blowing leaves, and on the next day helping out on a construction project where you could be excavating, moving and laying brick, or leveling foundation. It truly is a jack of all trades position and it is a great opportunity to gain working skills and knowledge on all aspects of the business.
