Overview

Job Title: General Labourer – Hamilton, ON

Status: Full time ; Seasonal

Expected Start date: As soon as possible

Location: 180 Pier 24 Gateway, Hamilton ON L8H 0A3

Reporting to: Facility Manager

Starting wage: 22$/h

Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with loading/unloading trucks and/or railcars
• Assisting in the production process
• Clean up, painting, and general maintenance of the grounds and facility
• Other general duties at the facility
• Follow all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations department

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• A strong work ethic and ability to work in small teams
• A reliable method of transportation to and from work in a timely manner (limited or no public transit)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, being responsible, resourceful and autonomous
• Ability to work outdoors, at height and in all environments
• A good sense of humor is a helpful asset
