We are looking for a General Laborer (Production Worker) within our ATCO Structures Bluegrass Service Facility located at 285044 Bluegrass Dr, Calgary, AB. Bluegrass manages a fleet of space rental units, and a service shop, and supports clients across Southern Alberta.

This role is part of the Local 2010 union. As a General Labourer (Production Worker), you get to work with a very collaborative, fun and supportive team-based environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a champion for all safety procedures and protocols.
• Manage and clean the trailers, and shop, including cleaning of walls, windows, floors, and washrooms.
• Assist with painting and minor repair/maintenance of trailers, tools, and equipment.
• Read and interpret basic drawings.
• Support with small renovation activities for our modular units, snow and garbage removal.
• Manual handling of materials, movement of the service line, and assisting with unloading of trucks if required.
• Other activities as requested.

Qualifications:

• A safety oriented general handyman who enjoys variety of general labour tasks and minor repairs.
• Previous experience in using hand and power tools.
• Forklift experience and active ticket would be considered an asset.
• Must be willing to undergo forklift training if no prior experience.
• Ability to lift 55lbs unassisted and 35 lbs. overhead.
