Job summary

AROW Global in Winnipeg, MB is hiring General Labour- Production Workers & Helpers to join our manufacturing facility. You will participate in day-to-day production and packaging of agricultural parts, assembling transit bus windows, and driver protection systems.

We seek team players who excel in a fast-paced environment. Starting wages: CA$17.65 to CA$18.25 per hour with multiple shifts including 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, and 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously and stand for long periods.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings/breakdowns.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assembly cell type of work specifically for Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, and glass materials.
• Working with your hands, lifting, and moving large pieces of metal, and standing for hours at a time, requires physical strength and stamina.
• Assisting machine operators with machine setup, quality control, deburring, stocking and preparing materials for shipment.
• Use of precision measurement instruments.
• Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packaged.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Performing quality checks to ensure items meet quality standards.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

• Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (2 Openings)- Starting wage $17.65/hour

General Labour- Production Workers & Helpers

The Production Worker position offers support and takes the lead in the day-to-day production and packaging of agricultural parts, assembling transit bus windows, and assembling driver protection systems. We are looking for individuals who are team-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

The Successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

• Assembly cell type of work specifically for Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, and glass materials
• Working with your hands, lifting, and moving large pieces of metal, and standing for hours at a time, requires physical strength and stamina
• Assisting machine operators with machine setup, quality control, deburring, stocking and preparing materials for shipment
