Job summary

Agropur Inc. is seeking a general labor role in our Ottawa-area facility. Starting wage is $23.66 per hour with afternoon and night premiums. The position offers up to 40 hours per week with potential overtime, training, and required work in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities include shipping/receiving, forklift operation, order picking, and general cleanup across shifts. Candidates should be flexible to days, evenings, nights, and weekends with varying schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to lift 23 kg (50 lb) repeatedly.
• Experience in industrial or warehousing environment is an asset.
• Experience with power equipment including forklift is preferred.

Your role in achieving results:

• Shipping / receiving duties;
• Forklift operation;
• Order picking;
• Clean-up duties;
• Perform in a refrigerated environment (1 to 4 degrees Celsius).

What we are looking for to deliver these results:

• Candidates need to be availabledays/evenings/nights/weekends.(Schedule is known on Thursdays for the week starting the following Sunday);
• Must be physically fit and able to lift repeatedly 23Kg (50 lbs) loads, work standing up for long periods of time, work in a refrigerated environment;
• Previous relevant experience in industrial or warehousing environment (asset);
• Experience with power equipment (power jack, forklift, etc.);
• Experience in the food / dairy industry.

****Must be available to work all shifts, including DAY, EVENING, NIGHT, AND WEEKEND SHIFTS. Hours are based on production and business need, ranging from 32 to 40 hours a week on a changing schedule.****
