Production Worker – MV Assembly

The Production Worker position offers support and takes the lead in the day-to-day production and packaging, and assembly of transit bus windows. We are looking for individuals who are team-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assembly cell type of work specifically for Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, and glass materials.
  • Working with your hands, lifting, and moving large pieces of metal, and standing for hours at a time, requires physical strength and stamina.
  • Use of precision measurement instruments.
  • Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packaged.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Performing quality checks to ensure items meet quality standards.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
  • Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously when required.
  • The ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to read / interpret drawings / breakdowns.
  • Understanding the importance of producing quality products.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
