Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking a General Labourer in Ontario to support the production of high-quality foods. You will be responsible for packaging, clean-up, and various elemental activities related to food processing, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The role involves standing for long periods, manual lifting, and collaboration with a production team. The position offers an hourly rate of $18.90/hour, with opportunities to contribute to a leading North American protein company

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Feed cartons into machines
• Check and weigh materials and products
• Manually pack product into bags, cartons, or other containers
• Remove finished goods cartons from conveyor and place on pallets
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Other duties as assigned
