Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods in Ontario is seeking a General Labourer to support packaging, clean-up and basic food-processing tasks on our busy production lines.

You will work full-time Monday to Friday with some Saturdays when overtime is required. Some shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week, with overtime opportunities and a fast-paced learning environment where growth is possible.

Qualifications

• Available for full-time hours Monday to Friday and some Saturdays when overtime is required.
• Some shifts are 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week, varying days between Monday-Saturday.
• Overtime is available.
• All PPE is provided to employees (hard hat, boots, jacket, etc.).
• Shifts do not rotate.
• Support of a union.

• Feed cartons into machines
• Check and weigh materials and/or product
• Manually pack product into bags, cartons or other containers
• Remove finished goods cartons from conveyer and place on pallets
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Other duties as assigned
