Job Opportunity

The Smurfit Westrock Mississauga facility is looking for General Labourers to work in Production on days, afternoons, and nights. Responsibilities include stacking finished cartons onto skids, performing quality checks, assisting operators and printers with machine setup, housekeeping duties, and team communication to produce quality cartons. This role offers opportunities to develop new skills, with a competitive wage, health & dental benefits, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or printing is an asset.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for entire shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Good attendance record.

Shift Schedule

Willingness to work any of the following shifts, with flexibility for shift changes due to operational needs:

• Days: Mon-Thu 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM; Fri 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM
• Afternoons: Mon-Thu 3:00 PM - 10:30 PM; Fri 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM
• Nights: Mon-Thu 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM; Off on Friday
