Salary Range: CA$21.00 To CA$21.00 Hourly

About the Role:

The General Labour is a six-month contract position. This position in Westport is essential for supporting daily production operations and ensuring a smooth workflow on the floor. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks that contribute to the assembly, packaging, and maintenance of products and equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with team members to meet production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately are critical to maintaining operational efficiency. Ultimately, this role supports the overall manufacturing process by providing reliable and consistent labor to meet company goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills to understand work instructions and safety guidelines
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with standard safety practices and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or experience operating manufacturing machinery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
