General Laborer / Plumber’s Helper

Job description

PEX Plumbing is looking for a dependable and hard-working full-time laborer to join our plumbing team in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area. As a General Laborer/Plumber’s Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our plumbing operations, and ensuring smooth project execution. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing homes for plumbing work, including surface dust protection.
• Help in hanging pipes, applying insulation, and securing straps in crawlspaces.
• Perform jobsite cleanup to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist plumbers with any needs that arise.

Requirements

• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Able to pass a drug screening test.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Additional skills in drywall patching and other handyman tasks are a plus.
• Competitive pay starting at $18-$28 per hour, based on experience.
• 4-day work weeks (Monday to Thursday).
• Guaranteed 40 hour paychecks.
