Job summary

Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake is expanding its Internal Medicine team, offering an opportunity to work in a collegial, well-supported environment alongside a dedicated surgical team and a busy emergency department.

The General Internist will manage inpatient care, provide ED consults, and oversee a 4-bed High Acuity Unit (HAU). Subspecialties welcomed, with NAVIG8 leadership development and RSA incentives available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Ability to manage inpatient care and ED consults.
• Experience with high-acuity unit care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient care for IM patients at CMH Williams Lake.
• Provide ED consults and support for acute presentations.
• Oversee a 4-bed High Acuity Unit (HAU) and coordinate related care.
