Job summary

Wonderbrands is hiring for a Packaging Associate at our Mississauga facility. You will pack finished products, support with machinery, inspect quality, and maintain clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail to identify defects and maintain quality.
• Willingness to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Capability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products into containers or boxes, label packages, and prepare them for shipping.
• Support the production process by operating or assisting with machinery and assembly lines.
• Inspect products for quality and report any defects or irregularities.
• Provide support to machine operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing PPE.
• Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use.
• Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures and understand GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products into containers or boxes, label packages, and prepare them for shipping.


• Support the production process by operating or assisting with machinery and assembly lines.


• Inspect products for quality and report any defects or irregularities.


• Provide support to machine operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.


• Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)


• Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use.


• Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures and have an understanding and respect for GMPs.

Qualifications

• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify product defects and maintain quality standards.


• Willingness to work in a team and communicate effectively.


• Capability to handle changing priorities and perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment.


• Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime if required.


• Basic proficiency in reading and understanding work instructions, labels, and safety protocols.


• Understanding of workplace safety and food safety regulations.


• Previous quality experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus but not mandatory.
