Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA's Food Service Worker role is responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with the daily operation of a busy cafeteria, including food preparation, serving customers, maintaining safety standards, operating a cash register, stocking products, and keeping the dining area clean and welcoming. The hourly wage is $20.04.

Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience. We comply with pay transparency legislation.

Qualifications

• FoodSafe Level 1 certification is an asset.
• Familiar with the use of a cash register is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage heavy workload.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting as required.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast food is considered an asset.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Job Summary

This role includes food preparation, serving customers, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, operating a cash register, stocking products, and ensuring the dining area remains clean and welcoming.

The hourly wage for this role is $20.04. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.
