Job summary

Aramark in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of our kitchens and operations. This role is an entry point opportunity with room to grow within a global services company.

You will help clean dishes, utensils and equipment, support sanitation, and assist with basic kitchen tasks. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred to meet guest needs. We value safety, teamwork and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Must follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and utensils.
• Keep dishwashing station and 3-compartment sink clean.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report issues to management.
• Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
