Job summary

Kroeker Farms seeks General Farm Workers for Riverhurst, SK, starting as early as 2027-02-01. Work includes planting, harvesting, packing, and field maintenance in outdoor, sometimes harsh conditions. Must be able to lift up to 23 kg and operate basic farm equipment.

Seasonal role with pay from $15.70 to $20 per hour, 40–60 hours per week. On-site work only; a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• No degree required; general farm worker position.
• Experience of 7 months to <1 year in farming or related tasks preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Clean the crops and fields, and clear debris.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Harvest, sort, and pack vegetables and potatoes.
• Monitor crop quality and ensure safety and bio-security procedures.

We are currently seeking General Farm Workers to support our agricultural needs in Riverhurst, SK.

Pay range is from $15.70 - 20 per hour/40 to 60 hours per week. This is a seasonal positional.

Responsibilities

• Clean the crops
• Clear fields of wood and stones
• Cut agricultural crops
• Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards
• Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
• Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour andvolume to fetch high price in market.
• Mixing fertilizer
• Pack fruits and vegetables
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Seed cutting
• Sort fruits and vegetables
• Weeding
• Clean work area
• Harvest crops
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
• Perform general farm duties
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
