Shared Health leads the planning and coordination of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Charge Medical Technologist or designate, the General Duty Medical Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic duties within their scope of training and experience. The incumbent provides direct patient care, technical, administrative, and operational support as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will maintain a safe environment following professional and provincial guidelines, ensure compliance with quality assurance programs, and uphold standards set by Accreditation, in accordance with Shared Health's mission, values, policies, procedures, and legislation.

Experience
  • Previous related experience preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Maintain active registration with CAMRT.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs preferred.
  • Follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships within a multidisciplinary team and with external agencies.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all entrusted information.
  • Fluency in both French and English may be required.
  • Ability to perform the duties as described.
