A regional health authority in Canada is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive care for patients. The role includes assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care while ensuring safety and quality. Candidates must have BC nursing registration and effective communication skills. This position may involve specialty certification based on unit assignment.

The requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Under the general supervision of the Care Co-coordinator or the Patient Care Manager, the nurse assesses, plans, provides, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients following established policies, procedures, and standards.
Specialty unit nurse positions also require area-specific specialty certification for the unit. Emergency Room, ICU, and Critical Care Relief Pool require Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Critical care and specialty units (e.g., Emergency, ICU, O.R., P.A.R., Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Psychiatry) require two years of recent related experience.
