Job Description

Starting Rate of Pay: $17.82/hr CAD

Job Duties Include:

As a General Cook, your dedication to food and workspace preparation will create truly spectacular fare. You will support the hotel by:

  • Assisting in the production and execution of all food items for à la carte and banquet menus according to hotel recipes and standards
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel EHC policies and standards
  • Having full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions
  • Ensuring proper labeling, dating, and storage of all items in the kitchen
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the CDP relevant to daily operations

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in the culinary field is an asset
  • Understanding of knife use and safety is required
  • Completion of a certified foodservice handling course is required
  • A diploma or certification in a culinary discipline is an asset
  • A valid Alberta driver’s license is an asset

Additional Information
