• Tasks and responsibilities of a Residential Siding Installer Team Leader have to perform, and some of the physical demands involved :
• Install, repair and service exterior products such as exterior cladding systems, lap siding (wood, fibre cement, composite), panel systems, metal panels, metal flashing, exterior air and vapour barriers, using hand and power tools, metal forming machines, metal breaks.
• Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Supervise the activities of construction workers engaged in exterior
• installations who install and service exterior building products on residential properties.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities within the work crew and with other company support staff.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Requisition required materials and supplies from company staff to complete the assigned project.
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions.
• Other duties that apply.
