Job summary

ONTARIO TECH ROOFING INC. in Mississauga, ON is seeking a General construction labourer who is self-motivated with good interpersonal skills. Immediate start. Permanent, full-time position with Day, Evening, Night, Flexible Hours and Morning shifts.

Position involves material handling, formwork, framing, roofing, blueprints interpretation, and crane-assisted operations. Two vacancies exist at $27.00 hourly for 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Mix, pour, and spread construction materials.
• Assist in framing houses, erect walls and construct roofs.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks.
• Lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials using mobile and tower cranes.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and calculate crane capacities for rigging and hoisting.
