Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Personal suitability: Flexibility. Reliability. Team player. Experience: Will train. Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
