Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Maple Ridge, BC is hiring a General Clerk/Cashier to support grocery, front end, deli and restaurant departments at the Dewdney location. Open availability is preferred to cover shifts across multiple areas.

You will greet customers, operate a cash register, share product knowledge, and help keep displays fresh and inviting while ensuring a clean, safe work environment. Retail experience is a plus and the team values service and integrity.

Position Summary

We are hiring for a General Clerk/Cashier to work in various departments at our Dewdney location in Maple Ridge, BC. Departments include grocery, front end, deli and restaurant. Open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

Compensation

$18.25 - $21.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
