Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a General Clerk/Cashier at our Burnaby Willingdon location. Open availability is preferred, 24-40 hours per week. You will operate a cash register, share product knowledge, and ensure the department is well stocked and presented with the freshest products.

You will also handle customer inquiries and maintain a clean, safe work area. We value a passion for great food, a strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

Compensation Details

$18.25 - $21.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
